The channel said that what happened is related to a technical failure in the ruling room on the air.

The channel apologized to viewers for this malfunction, explaining that it had opened an investigation into the accident and the perpetrators would be punished.

In his speech broadcast by the Russian media, Putin said that the Russian people have passed this year with dignity as it is appropriate for one people to honor the traditions of their ancestors.
