I'm not a fan of New Year's Resolutions. That doesn't mean I don't think they ever end up working out to the good, just that more often than not, I think they cause people to doubt their ability to resolve, then do.

I explain why they don't work very well in my view, as well as discussing motivation and explaining that most New Year's Resolutions don't spring from it, but from obligation. That's not a great thing in my view.
