Guitar Lesson: Soloing over a dominant chord

I discuss some different options that can be used in improvising over an A7/A9 dominant chord. The 3 note per string pattern I use looks like this:
1st- 9 10 12
2nd- 8 10 12
3rd- 6 7 9
4th- 5 7 9
5th- 4 5 7
6th- 3 5 7
