I was lucky enough to find a well kept (Brand) "Round Oak" wood cook stove from the 1950's. I grew up on a small farm where we had a kitchen stove that was woodfired too. I installed my kitchen wood stove in the harvest shack between the garden and our house. The wife and I enjoy our life together growing our own food. Picking apples, wild blackberries, Pie cherries, as well as Plums and Pears. In this video you see I have mastered the art of Roasting a large turkey in the oven. Yes on 5 gallon bucket of wood is all it took to cook that fine bird.
