Searching For Charles Brown

Charles Brown was a horse thief that was hunted down, shot and killed by a vigilante posse in 1885. He was buried a couple yards from where he fell near French John Rd in Owyhee County. If he hadn't shot at the ranchers who were trying to recover their property, he probably would have survived until his execution. Five ranchers put seven bullet holes in him, all of which would have been mortal.
