Yes, it is possible to make an Afghan or Blanket without the Afghan Loom. It is a matter of making several flat sections on the Round or Long Loom and then, joining the sections together to get the desired width of your Afghan or Blanket. There are several different stitches and ways of joining the panels or sections together. In this video, I demonstrate how to use the 'whip stitch' to join the pieces together.
