PROCEDURE: Glue caps together, back-t0-back. Ask adult to use nail to make a hole through center of caps with large nail. Fill one bottle 3/4 full with water, food coloring and glitter. Screw cap on bottle with water. Then screw empty bottle on top. Turn bottles upside down. Use two hands to hold bottom bottle. Move wrists as if drawing circles in air. Water inside should start to swirl. You should see a tornado-like funnel form in the water.
Now, test yourself. Think about the experiment and number your steps in the right order from one to ten. Did you get them right? You can call yourself a weather scientist.
