Covid19-Nursing Home- visit

This is my visit with my mom during very restricted visitation guidelines, that are not appropriate for everyone.

I had to yell at her through a plexiglass shield in hope's she could hear me. I soon learned she wasn't aware I was there and I felt ridiculous sitting there. I thought perhaps someone might show up with a camera crew shouting, "Smile! You're on Candid Camera."
Sadly, this is what our government feels is an appropriate way to protect the elderly in care homes.

My next video is longer, as I share why these guidelines are nonsensical and ridiculously inappropriate. You'll see how employees walk by, on a lunch break and prove why there is no logic to why I am required to sit behind the plexiglass to protect my mom frim Covid.
Change must happen.
This is my experience to give a glimpse into the life of being in the position of your loved one being held hostage in the name of Covid.
The Human Rights of elderly all around our country are being violated. We must do something.
