TPC #18: Special Agent Bruce Sackman (Medical Serial Killers)

TPC #18 is a dark conversation with an absolute saint of a human being, Special Agent Mr. Bruce Sackman, who spent his career arresting doctors and nurses who murder their patients. From Mr. Sackman's Reddit AMA: "I am the retired special agent in charge of the US Department of Veterans Affairs OIG. There are a number of ongoing cases in the news about doctors and nurses who are accused of murdering their patients. I am the coauthor of Behind The Murder Curtain, the true story of medical professionals who murdered their patients at VA hospitals, and how we tracked them down."

Mr. Sackman tracked down and brought justice to countless doctors and nurses who, in some cases, killed up to 60 patients through various means. His career was not one he planned out; one day he is investigating white collar financial fraud in hospital procurements, next thing he knows he's in a graveyard exhuming a body and taking arsenic samples from the dirt. I know, right?

These sociopaths and psychopaths are nothing short of demons hiding amongst the angels and saints that make up the medical community. Mr. Sackman wades through the halos to find the horns. He is the author of Behind the Murder Curtain, Art of the Investigation, will be featured on a CNN production this March (2020), and will be speaking at the first ever conference on medical serial killing this March (2020).
