He is the reason for the celebration

God formulated a rescue operation to restore harmony to the universe. To restore harmony, God has to bring humanity back to its original relationship with God and the rest of the creation. To implement that plan, 2 issues need to be addressed. Firstly, someone has to pay the penalty of death on behalf of humanity. Only God could do that. For this reason, God sent his son to the earth to take the death punishment. The son of God had to die as a substitute for humanity’ eternal death. Consequently, about 2,000 years ago, Jesus was born on the earth.
