Gino Recchia NBC26 Weather Forecast
Tonight, Christmas Eve night will be blustery and cold with lows in the low single digits. GREAT weather for Santa!! Christmas will be slightly warmer with highs in the low-20s, but wind chills will make it feel like the single digits thanks to northwest winds around 10-20 mph. We do improve during the weekend with highs back in the mid 20s on Saturday and then the lower 30s as we head into Sunday with a small chance of seeing some light snowfall. How much snow on Sunday is yet to be determined but it is looking like a rather weak system right now with maybe 1-2 inches at most. Monday is going to be quiet with mostly sunny skies. Clouds will be increasing on Tuesday with highs in the mid 20s. There is a storm that will be moving in on Wednesday next week that will require monitoring. Depending on where the storm sets up, someone in the Midwest may get quiet a few inches of snowfall.
