In Exodus 20 the 10 Commandments of the Sinaitic Covenant are listed. Moses later receives the 2 Stone Tablets with these Commandments written on them. But he ends up shattering them when he sees Israel breaking the Covenant they had just entered into 40 days earlier. After 3,000 are put to death and God is appeased, God calls Moses to the Mount a 7th time to receive a 2nd Set of Stone Tablets. Only while he is there, God happens to dictate to him 10 new Commandments proclaiming to Moses that He will make a (nother) Covenant with Israel. So is Exodus 34 the 10 Commandments of the New Covenant?
