Twelve east coast states plan gas tax hike while people struggle to pay rent

I'm old enough to remember the 2008 crash. When gas prices went up, so did everything else. Now blue states from Virginia to Maine plan on taxing fuel provider and it will definitely hurt the poorest anong us who are already struggling to pay bills.
