Scientists Know Darwinian Evolution is Impossible: Secular scientists know that Darwinian evolution is impossible and are looking for alternate methods for evolution to function in bringing about ever increasingly complex forms of life. One of these groups who have been researching alternatives to Darwinism points out the scientific facts on their web site:

“The commonly accepted alternative is Neo-Darwinism, which is clearly naturalistic science but ignores much contemporary molecular evidence and invokes a set of unsupported assumptions about the accidental nature of hereditary variation. Neo-Darwinism ignores important rapid evolutionary processes such as symbiogenesis, horizontal DNA transfer, action of mobile DNA and epigenetic modifications. Moreover, some Neo-Darwinists have elevated Natural Selection into a unique creative force that solves all the difficult evolutionary problems without a real empirical basis.”

Today the science pastor talks about some of the scientific facts mentioned in the above quote, and how mutations and natural selection may be beneficial in the short term, but almost always results in a degradation of the genome that slowly destroys life.

In addition, life is so complication that it is impossible for the necessary beneficial mutations to have happened within the available time.
