【114】PCR検査の危険性 - 大橋眞

PCR検査が、今回の感染症の標準的な検査として、広く使われるようになってきました。ある政党や、地方自治体においては、このPCR検査の拡充が、感染症対策に不可欠であるとして、独自の活動を展開し始めています。しかし、PCR検査の問題点について正しく理解されていると思えません。PCR検査は、遺伝子を検査するものであり、しかも遺伝子全体のごく一部の類似性を見るだけです。今回騒動の中心は、中国のグループが発表した論文の新コロウイルスの遺伝子です。この遺伝子のごく一部分が似ている遺伝子をPCRで検出しているわけです。
　遺伝子の一部が似ているからと言って、全体が似ているかどうかはわかりません。また、病原性があるウイルスかどうかもわかりません。論文を発表した中国のグループですら、病原性があるとは言っていないのです。つまり、だれも病原性があるという証明をしていないウイルスに部分的に似ているからという理由で、感染者という診断で隔離しているわけです。症状のあるPCR陽性者についても、本当にこのウイルスが症状の原因になっていることを確認するべきなのです。
　PCR検査が、病原体を検査しているという誤解は、社会に謎の感染症が蔓延しているという社会不安を作り出します。また、この対策と称して、本来不要な自粛、3密を避ける、マスク社会を作り出します。健常者を隔離することは、基本的人権に関わる問題です。専門家だけでなく、政治家にもPCR検査の本質に関する理解が求められているのです。

Just because some of the genes are similar, I don't know if they are all similar. Also, I don't know if it is a pathogenic virus. Even the Chinese group that published the paper did not say it was pathogenic. In other words, they are quarantined as infected because they are partially similar to viruses that no one has proven to be pathogenic. Even for symptomatic PCR-positive individuals, we should make sure that the virus really causes the symptoms.
The misunderstanding that the PCR test is testing for pathogens creates social unrest that a mysterious infectious disease is prevalent in society. In addition, as this measure, we will create a mask society that avoids unnecessary self-restraint and three densities. Isolating healthy people is a fundamental human rights issue. Not only experts but also politicians are required to understand the essence of PCR testing.
