Curfews for COVID?

Tucson AZ thought that it would be wise to have a curfew at 8 pm (changed to 10 pm soon after) to stop the spread of COVID. Does COVID come out at night? Is COVID more contagious at night? Is this whole thing just overblown and stupid? Probably...
