A veld fire was brought under control by the valiant efforts of Cape Town Firefighters

A veld fire was brought under control by the valiant efforts of Cape Town Firefighters. The vegetation fire was halted just before reaching the residential area of Bakoven, Cape Town. Strong winds nearly hampered the efforts of the helicopters but fortunately, they did enough to allow the ground crews to finish up the extinguishing.
