The 8th Night of Hannakah
Hannakah is a popular Holy Day and not just with our Jewish Friends, it is celebrated all around the world. Known by many as the Festival of Lights and is celebrated by Jesus Christ, in the Gospel of John 9:22. It remembers the rebellion against the establishment that wanted to ban the practice of Judaism. Antiochus Epiphanes, a Greek leader, who entered the II Temple on the Temple Mount to desecrate the temple and offer worship but not to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. After 3 years of rebellion, the temple was successfully liberated from foreign domination, and worship to the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob could resume in the temple. The problem was there was only enough Kosher oil for one night, and the process needed to do things the right way would take eight days. Miraculously God supplied the need, and the celebration returns every year. Yes, our God supplies.
