Carbon Dating Human Fossils: Not Consistent
Carbon 14 is used to date human fossils Mungo woman was found in Australia in 1969. Based on carbon 14 the bones dated to be 19,000 years old, but the collagen dated to be almost 25,000 years old... but it was found to be buried below charcoal dated at more than 26,000 years old. So which is it? That's a 40% difference! Which is it? Whatever gives the oldest date because that results in the most prestige for the discoverer.
