• Short Version: you can't believe anything you read in the news
• News used to be provided by reporters, now they are created by journalists
• Reports are factual descriptions of actual events, by reporters
• Stories that you see nowadays are written by journalists
• Journals are not reports - they are typically stories writing about feelings
• The news has always been "embellished" but it used to have a kernel of truth
• Now, "news" completely disconnected from reality
• There is no TRUTH in news any longer, so whenever you see any news, start with DISTRUST AND VERIFY, not Reagan's Trust, But Verify.
