Viewers respond to mail delivery delays, we put the system to the test

Viewers responded in droves to our stories about USPS package delays, many of them telling us they had the same experiences that we documented in our Tuesday night story. Some packages seemingly in limbo in the facility. Recent Stories from tmj4.com One viewer, Russel, said: "I have two packages that are listed as being in Oak Creek. One is my heart medication. I have been waiting 10 days now." Kathleen from Brookfield sent a package to Sacramento, CA, saying: "Five days later, it arrived in Oak Creek. It then went to Honolulu, HI and is still in transit. Will it need to quarantine when it finally arrives, given its extensive travels?” We asked the USPS specific questions about delays in Oak Creek, and received a response that was lacking in specifics. USPS spokesperson Bob Sheehan said, “We are working our available resources to match the workload created by the impacts of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, coupled with considerable increase in holiday package volumes.”
