In Lesson 13 of One Minute Piano, you will learn the chords that go along with the right hand melody from Lesson 12.

In this lesson you will begin to fill in the piano arrangement by playing each chord several times in each measure before switching to a new chord.

This is the first song in the One Minute Piano series where you are being asked to play a more intricate right-hand melody, while playing the chord multiple times in each measure.

Chords are the key component to every song ever written. In order to get an in-depth understanding of music, the study of chords is imperative.

If you are a vocalist, you will focus on playing chords with your right hand and simple bass notes with your left hand.

However, if you are not a singer and have no plans to accompany a singer, then you are at the right place. Of course, if you truly want to be a well rounded musician, you can always subscribe to both channels. Remember, each daily lesson is only one minute in length.

Why should you learn piano with my video lessons?

Many people today don’t have time to attend piano lessons in person — nor do they have the time to practice an hour every day.

The video lessons at One Minute Piano are designed to provide short bursts of instruction that can be learned quickly.

Even though I will be uploading a new one minute piano lesson every day, you can progress at a pace that is comfortable for you.

Each video lesson will feature On-screen EZ Read Sheet Music with the letter name of each note displayed inside each note head.

This will reduce the time it takes to learn how to read sheet music from the usual 3 to 5 years, to a matter of just a few months.

An interactive piano keyboard will be displayed at the bottom of each video showing where each note in the sheet music is located on the piano keyboard.

At the bottom of every video lesson, I will include an interactive piano keyboard displaying blue keys to represent right hand notes and gold keys to represent left hand notes — thereby making it much easier and faster to distinguish right hand notes from left hand notes.

To keep each video lesson as short as possible, commentary will be kept to a minimum, which won’t be a problem since each lesson is designed to be extremely intuitive.

In One Minute Piano, non-vocalists will focus on playings chords with their left hand while they play the melody with their right hand.

In One Minute Piano For Singers, vocalists will focus on playing chords with their right hand and bass notes with their left hand while they sing the melody.
