Police Chief: Pandemic, social issues contribute to rise in shootings

Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac believes the root causes of gun violence lie in social issues, explaining that if poverty is a disease, shootings are a symptom. Calvin Ivory, a Kennedy Heights business owner, said he too believes that a lack of opportunity can create unsafe streets.
