GRBL Trinamic Drivers on MKS DLC 2.0 3018 CNC upgrade Closed Loop TFT32

I wanted to upgrade my 3018 CNC to a board that supported external stepper drivers. The end goal is to have closed loop steppers. For now I'm going to run some extra TMC2208 drivers I have laying around. I created a small controller box link down below to mount it to the back my 3018 CNC.
