The Christmas Prophecy in Psalm 98 | Joy to the World

Psalm 98 was the inspiration behind the song "Joy To The World." This psalm, however, is far more: it is a prophetic work that includes a prophecy about Christmas!

I look at how Psalm 98:1-3 prophesies about the birth of Jesus as being the time when God revealed his salvation to the whole world. First, I look at how the psalm points toward Jesus Christ. Second, I look at how the New Testament tells us that this prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus' birth.

I close the video by remind each of us to heed the psalm's call to joyously worship God. Christians should spend time growing their relationship with Jesus, sharing God's love with others, and proclaiming the good news of Jesus' birth, death, and resurrection.
