Is Facebook spreading false information?

Facebook uses Fact Checkers like Lead Stories to reduce the spread of misinformation. But it seems Facebook is the number one spreader of false information. Are they doing this knowingly, or have they been deceived?
We went through the Lead Stories fact check and found that things weren't exactly on the up and up. The length of the video is how much they are trying to deceive you.
