Morning Song

Music for drinking coffee...

I wrote this tune around 2005. I was playing a bunch of early morning breakfast solo gigs in Atlanta/Buckhead for a group of real Estate brokers. It seemed like all the stuff I generally played was “night music”. So I wrote this tune to try and play for the occasion, like a tune for a coffee commercial. More of a "morning" song than "Body and Soul". It was the first of a bunch of these sort of tunes and the inspiration for my project “Planet Zu” which was a kind of smooth Jazz project.
