Best Abandoned Old School in this Little Old Town

We traveled to Mineral Wells Texas where we discovered the Best Abandoned Old School in this Little Old Town! As we walked up to the school you can hear the clip on the cord hitting the flag pole, like it was speaking to us... I'm here, I'm still standing, come in and visit me! The floors in this place are original wood flooring which cracks with every step, letting you wonder if it's safe to walk across the room on the floor. The school had these really old doors, it windows opened at the very top of the door that could open to ventilate the room and old door knobs with little latches to lock the door if needed. There was some graffiti scattered around as you will see. We started in the basement area which was very dark and musty smelling. Absolutely no air circulated the school, any broken window were boarded up. It was hot inside but the beauty of the old school was significant, seeing the old ceiling tiles and old fixtures, old chalk boards crumbling and the floors in some of the class rooms were to danderous to walk across and so the rooms were sealed shut for safety. My favorite room was the auditorium! Old seats still in place in the balcony and a stairway leading up to the balcony which was crumbling. The stage was beautiful I'm sure in it's prime and still lovely to see now!
