We are excited to announce that Premier F1 Pilot, Philip Goforth, has Joined Team Möbius as our Chief Pilot!

With more than 15,000 hours of flight under his belt, Phillip is a highly versatile pilot. He has done all types of flying, from Alaskan bush to commercial airline to corporate aviation. He is qualified in a variety of aircraft types and has logged time flying gyrocopters, doing aerobatic performances in a WWII Spitfire, and much more.

Philip has also become an F1 legend. He’s one of the more senior pilots in the class, with over 12 years of racing experience. He served as the President of the International Formula 1 Pylon Air Racing League for the last 2 years, and served as the Pilot Committee Chair for 4 years.

He founded Flyboyz Race Camp, an F1 pilot training camp where they teach all aspects of what it takes to race an F1 plane, from pilot skill, to plane construction and maintenance.

Philip has custom built 2 of his planes, and assisted in the builds of several others. He often performs the first test flights for new plane owners and is sought after by many to pilot their entries on race day.

In addition to his new role as Chief Pilot for Möbius, Philip will also be overseeing the redesign, customization and construction of their plane, the Voltaire.
