City of Fountains Kansas City

This is a passion project we've been working on in our free time. This series will feature only our running fountains in KC that give us the nick name "City of Fountains".
A friend mentioned that they wanted to take a few photos of our city's beautiful fountains. This is where the inspriation began to take shape. The first attempt at filming was overly cloudy and didn't give great contrast or dept to the running fountains that were filmed. So immediately a second shoot was required. That's when this project really began to take off. It took 7 days of filming to gather the material for this video series. In post production we realized there were so many wonderful shots of these fountains, picking each one became difficult.
Once the city fountains all turn on again there will be many more films to come. In the meantime enjoy the first of several videos to help showcase our amazing city!
A tip to remember; while these fountains are free to look at and appreciate they take lots of funds to keep them running and maintained.
