Waterdeep Dragon Heist - Episode 3

Episode 3

Player Characters

Augustine Talmost (played by Josh) is the third of five children in the noble Talmost family. With two older siblings to act as heirs to the family business Augustine grew up with all the privilege and respect of a Waterdhavian noble but none of the responsibility. He sought out a career as a member of the Waterdeep City Guard and grew to love his city and the common hard-working folk. He now goes by the name Gus and endeavors to join the elite military group the Gray Hands. After applying to the Gray Hands and not receiving a response, Gus decided it was time to try a new career path, something more prestigious than guard work. He left the city guard to try to make a name for himself independent from his family name. So far, the only real work he's found has been more guard work.

Dandriel Torro (played by Keler) is a half drow with innate magical abilities. Raised by his drow mother, a Sword Dancer of Eilistraee, he believes in rehabilitating the followers of Lolth and reintroducing the drow to the above ground community. Upon hearing of Eilistraee's return and appearance near Waterdeep, he traveled to the city to petition for the creation of a temple. The challenges and wonders of The City of Splendors have distracted him a bit from his goals. He earns a living by performing magical light shows or demonstrations of some of his magical abilities in local taverns and on the street. Aided by his general charm he also does odd jobs waiting tables or washing dishes when he isn't performing.

Dravarax Roussimoff (played by Nic) is a dragonborn with a complicated past. Raised and taught by a tribe of elite fighters, Dravarax would prefer to be more of a scholar. He was banned from his tribe when they discovered him spending time reading and learning. Continuing his studies, Dravarax found himself set upon by unexpected enemies and wrapped up in a world of mysteries, secrets, and forbidden knowledge for which he was not prepared.

Lindariel Gwavir (played by Megan), a half moon elf, lived a quiet life in the High Forest until tragedy left her with no reason to stay. She stopped in Secomber for a time and helped the citizens there defend themselves against hobgoblin raids. She then continued to Waterdeep chasing stories of a father she's never met. With such strong ties to nature and not being accustomed to crowds her reaction to the urban environment was far less positive than most. She found reasonable lodging at the Inn of the Dripping Dagger which included a stable for her two horses. She found employment with Aurora's Realms Shop making deliveries throughout the city. She's asked around for information about her father, but with so little information to go on she has yet to find any leads.

Nightbreeze (played by Michael) is a member of the beautiful, magical, and mysterious race of eladrin elves from the feywild. Personal tragedy forced him to leave his home, his loved ones, and the life he knew at an early age. He found work as a messenger for the Zhentarim and also worked as a sword for hire for various mercenary groups. Recently finding himself at the end of a contract, he began traveling toward larger cities to find new employment.
