Abandoned Knights of the Ku Klux Klan Headquarters. This was a very interesting building to explore with all its history. This building was originally built in 1921 for the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan as a Meeting Hall. This was a different time in history which made this adventure a little creepier. The building caught fire and burned down but was rebuilt in 1924 as a larger building. This building was creepy to explore as it has also become home to the homeless on occasion and walking through it well, you just didn't know what you'd find. While we were inside we could hear someone moving around, but we never saw anyone inside. The building had 4 floor levels originally, badly decayed and yet it still stands as it was built of brick and mortar. The building has been many things throughout the ages. Imagine if those walls could talk, the stories they could tell. I'm told this is the only KKK building left standing in America, the last KKK Meeting Hall.
