Billy Tucci's Shi: Return of the Warrior comic books

After 20 years Billy Tucci brings back his beloved Shi to her own crowd funded book. Ana Ishikawa is living her best garden designing life with her fifteen year old daughter and grandfather when the demon visits her dreams. A new psychologist arrives to help Ana investigate whether the ritual death of her grandfather's friend, but is he friend or foe?

On of the great things about this book is how comic book artist Tucci doesn't just pick up where he left off. He ages Ana, shows what fifteen years of inactivity and giving birth will do to a body. The action kicks off quickly. Although it does end on a cliff hanger the arc of the book leaves you feeling satisfied instead. The line work and coloring are excellent as you'd expect from someone who spent years in the industry.
