Jenny’s Viewpoint: Speak up now or forever keep your silence | Focus Talk

What’s happening in America today reminds me of the situation in Hong Kong. In summer of 2019, hundreds of thousands, sometimes even millions of Hongkongers took it to the @ to protest the extradition @. One of the reasons they often gave was, “If we don't take a stand today, we won't be able to take a stand tomorrow.” In essence, the Hongkongers were fighting for their freedom, for their way of life, and they are protecting it from being stolen or destroyed by the Chinese Communist Party.
I firmly believe that this election in America today is actually a similar battle, a battle of good v.s. evil of our time. If we don't speak up now, we may never get a chance to speak up again. The crisis and struggles we saw in Hong Kong have already extended to the United States, and is affecting everyone of us.
