Some good spots around the island that i found beneficial for hiding a solo base.

Tips:

-Find a good spot away from everyone else, the farther you are from other players the less likely they will find your base.

-Use the environment to your advantage, hide behind stones and under trees

-Use dyes, paint your walls to match your surroundings. green for grass, mud for dark rocks, white for snow and so on.

1st location 41.8 - 26.1
North East woods
I like this area because you don't get a lot of traffic coming through here. you should definitely paint it a darker color to fade into the cliff wall, maybe consider green to faded in to the ground for flyers. plenty of stone and wood around not to mention there is iron and oil not to far but the snow area.

2nd location 17.5 - 28.8
Snow Base
This area is great because its also in a low traffic area nestled between a huge stone a cliff side. you should definitely paint your walls and ceiling white to camo into back ground snow.

3rd location 19.5 34.5
Snow Rock
This is a good spot between rocks so its hidden from view and again in a low traffic area. the only real concern is that a lot of people know about this spot.

4th location 18.2 42.1
Ice Waterfall
Behind the ice waterfalls one of the coolest spots on the map. a really nice hidden spot that cant really be seen from the outside. 2 problems with this base is the fact that its well known and there is a few ways in because of glitches.

5th location 15.7 - 51.3
Ice Wall
This location is nice because its high above the ground so anyone riding around wont really see you and also hidden under a cliff shelf so anyone flying above wont see you. Two issues are that the base is hard to build there and not much space. But otherwise a sweet spot.

6th location 32.6 - 36.7
North Woods
One of my favorite spots for sure. almost no land traffic and almost all flying traffic is just quick fly overs. have to paint everything to stay hidden tho, i would paint everything mud color. a really good spot with a lot of resources around.

7th location 65.5 - 35.0
Red wood waterfall
The red woods are mostly a dangerous place, especially for a solo player. But this also mean not a lot of people just hang out around here, there is going to be alpha tribes around so just be mindful as you fly around but the waterfall really hides you good.

8th location 60.7 - 63.7
Swamp wall
This spot has tons of cover, high off the ground and on a cliff wall behind trees, minimal traffic too. just be weary that some people like to build bases close by.
