On February 10th, 2013, Kevin Conover hosted the Bob Siegel show on KCBQ and discussed school choice and the future of education in America. Kevin explains why school choice is one of the most important current social issues. School choice frees students from being trapped in an underperforming school just because of where they live. It allows many students to be able to attend private schools, which have higher rates of student achievement and lower rates of crime, when they never would have been able to otherwise. Kevin interviews several guests, including Lindsey Burke of the Heritage Foundation, Dr. Everett Piper and Dr. Jim Jeremiah, and some of his own high school students who switched from public to private school.
