Brief history of mask usage in the United States.
Pandemic of 1918/1919 government issued a mask order forcing everyone to wear masks. Government officials were found NOT wearing them.
They closed schools, public areas, and issued a “no spitting order”.
Studies found that there was a massive bacterial build up with wearing masks.
