Politics 101: Civic Duty vs Social Responsibility
In this video we break down how both civic duty and social responsibility play a role in our electoral process. Just as if the right and duty of ours to participate in the Civic process, it's just as much a moral obligation to ensure that we're making socially responsible decisions when we're voting. One of the big reasons we saw such an extreme amount of violence, murder, destruction of homes businesses and government property, is because individuals made socially irresponsible decisions by voting in people who did not have America's best interests in mind. We need to do our homework and understand what policies and legislations a candidate wants to push before we vote for them. And at the end of the day it's incredibly socially irresponsible to vote on the basis of who you hate the least. It's critical and vital for the health and well-being of America as a whole that we make educated and well informed voting decisions; and elect only the leaders that have our communities and country's best interests in mind.
