Walk Circumspectly - Which carries the idea of being diligent

Ephesians 5:14-16 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

In this passage verse 14 starts off with, I believe the previous few verses. Having the light of God will help in the ability to see where we are going.

Circumspectly carries the idea that we are to walk diligently. The placement of verses 15 and 16 after looking at what God doesn’t want in our lives.

We can only walk circumspectly when we understand that God has a standard of living and we need to be diligent in all things.
