Are they working on a more devastating virus?

Well, the thing is that nature has tried to make that devastating virus for billions of years, while humans haven't even been able to create life from scratch and no one has even been able to make a virus and all they can do is doing gain-of-function (breeding of viruses by moving them from blood to blood to blood in from many animals until the viruses mutates and get a new function).

But it's still a virus. And every freaking plant has ways to kill viruses that only attack for example humans. It isn't like star anise has to worry about influenza viruses attacking it because someone sneeze on it, but it still beat the crap out of those viruses (and even corona viruses together with quercetin, as I've been reporting on and there is a mug about).
