Grandfather Mountain Hiking Vlog

Hey friends! This is a very special hiking/adventure. We went to Grandfather Mountain. I've been dying to hike this area since last Summer. I was thinking I'd have to wait until the Spring because of work responsibilities, driving distance, lodging ect. But on this particular weekend everything just seemed to fall into place. So my husband and I decided to make it a weekend trip and an excuse for a belated birthday celebration. The weather wasn't "ideal" but it did make for a VERY interesting and exciting experience. Spoiler - we chose to stop at Mcrae Peak instead of going all the way to Calloway when the weather worsened. Also, I apologize in advance for the audio. At some points the wind is pretty intense, but in my opinion it's all part of a realistic viewing experience.
