How to Sign Up for Medicare

For those turning age 65 and the United States that, they have an opportunity to get fantastic and Health Insurance. This of course is through Medicare and you have paid for this your entire working life. Many people don’t know how to sign up for Medicare though.

You can enroll in Medicare Part A and/or Medicare Part B in the following ways:

Online at https://www.SocialSecurity.gov/

By calling Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY users 1-800-325-0778), Monday through Friday, from 7AM to 7PM.

In-person at your local Social Security office.

That that for example, you might still be working and don’t want to take part B Medicare it this time. The medication will delay part B and just sign up for part A.

Then when you’re ready to retire regardless of what age you are you can enroll in Medicare part B.
