Newsom Orders Californians To Wear Masks In Home On Thanksgiving, Limits Guests In Home
Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom today imposing likely the strictest restrictions for quote “social gatherings” in the country, along with the California Department of Public Health.
Ahead of Thanksgiving and the holiday season Newsom announced quote:
"Gatherings are defined as social situations that bring together people from different households at the same time in a single space or place. When people from different households mix, this increases the risk of transmission of COVID-19".
The new restrictions say that unless eating or drinking, residents must wear masks at all times in the home.
Other restrictions of the order that that quote “all gatherings must include no more than three households” and “singing, chanting and shouting are strongly discouraged."
