What's It Take To Receive the Promises of God?

What does it take to receive the promises of God? Faith and patience. Faith, because in order to receive the promise we need to be able to hear from the Lord to begin with. You know, "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17). Then there's the second part of the equation: patience. Sometimes, we just simply have to wait on Him to bring things to pass. But remember, God is faithful Who promised!
