The British Lions was a short lived band consisting of three former members of the original Mott The Hoople (Overend Watts on bass, Buffin on drums and Morgan Fisher on keyboards) with John Fisher (Lead vocals) and Ray Major (guitar), who had been in the post Ian Hunter lineup of Mott The Hoople. The band released this album in 1978 or the Robert Stigwood Organization (RSO) label, catalogue number RS-1-3032.

The audio on the was taken from a 1978 Canadian pressing of the original vinyl LP.
