Learning basic greetings in Japanese is a solid first step for any beginner of Japanese.

In this video, you'll learn greetings (挨拶 aisatsu) when meeting people, when asking how they are doing, and when saying goodbye. Then, we'll quiz you by asking what a word is in Japanese. Your final quiz will be to construct sentences using just the words and phrases in the video.

Listen, speak, and repeat.
