Zeke 'Boomer' Cannon stepped through the Sunrise Sunset Tavern's front door just before the sun finished dropping down below the nearby hilltop. Booted foot up on the much abused brass rail that ran the length of the bottom of the bar's much abused heavy wood plank front panel, he called out for a beer. A woman's voice came from the storage room at end end of the bar. “Give me a minute,” she called back. “Now where would he have hidden the bar napkins?” she asked no one in particular.
“Bar napkins?” Zeke questioned in response. “Yes,” the woman said as she stepped back out of the storage room, holding up a packet of napkins.
