In Poteet, a small town outside of San Antonio, Texas, residents and Texans from all over the state celebrate the Poteet Strawberry Festival @strawberryfestx every year. The Poteet Strawberry Festival started in 1948 as an effort to provide returning veterans an incentive to return to the farms.
