The Big Story:

L.A. County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl voted to shut down indoor and outdoor dining. After the vote she went out to dinner at a restaurant. Signalingher 'wokeness' and then defying her own rules.

Angela Marsden, owner of the Pineapple Bar & Saloon in Los Angeles, invested in setting up outdoor dining that complied with COVID safety guidelines. When LA mayor Eric Garcetti then shutdown outdoor dining, she was faced with an entirely new problem. Movie sets? No problems for them.

The people of Los Angeles are protesting the restaurant shutdowns. and the hypocrisy of their local officials. They are demanding to be allowed to work. Not demanding the government to take care of them, but for permission to earn a living.
