Tonight will be mostly cloudy with an overnight low in the upper 20s and light winds. We may see a few passing flurries. With very little air motion in the atmosphere for the next two days we will see cloudy starts to the day with low level status. Clouds will break apart later in the afternoon under light winds. Temperatures will be in the upper 30s to lower 40s both Monday and Tuesday. I expect more sunshine on Tuesday however with winds beginning to pick up. Lower to mid 40s are back in our area Wednesday and Thursday under mostly sunny skies. A strong area of low pressure will move in Friday and into the weekend. Right now the track of the storm has us in warm air, keeping the precipitation type as rain. As this low pressure exits the Midwest, colder air will wrap in behind it, resulting in and left over moisture transitioning over to snow from rain. We are still many days out from this storm which is way out in the middle of the Pacific Ocean right now. Any change in the track of this storm would create big changes to the forecast so stay tuned.
